Week #1: “Word Of The Year”
Spend some time reflecting on your word of the year (if you’ve chosen one), and create a spread that expresses that word.

I used dylusion sprays for the background and then dylusion stamps and paints for the leaves. I stamped in versamark and used clear embossing powder to create an area I could paint inside (thanks to Vicky P for this tip). I also used dylusions stamps for the wording. I wonder if I should outline the leaves to make them stand out more?
Did you choose a word of the year?

Lovely looking page.
No . . . I haven't chosen a word for the year . . . there are far too many to choose from and I'm terribly indecisive! AHA! Perhaps INDECISIVE should be my word . . . but that's not very positive is it?!!!!
YES . . . go for the leaf outlining! Get doodling!

Great word. Your page is beautiful, and still growing by the sound of it. I agree with Cherry. A bit of outlining and some doodling will make the whole thing pop. Lx
Fabulous first page Debs and a great word to choose. Love the tip about the wording part
