You can.........

I have quite a lot of chipboard and paper letters lying around so thought I should use them up. I started with my dylusion sprays and then used the matching paints for stencilling. I used black gesso to paint the letters,

I added some stamping and some white highlights.

Another finish.......

I am ashamed to say I started this at a craftathon a couple of years ago (?when). It was Cherry's shoebox project inspired by the wonderful Vicky P and her cups art journal page. I finished the background and spray painted the book pages with dylusions and cut out/stuck down the hearts whilst I was there. Since I got back I went around the hearts with my black gelatos for shading and that is pretty much it....

I knew the whole time the quote I wanted to put on there and over the weekend dug out my chipboard letters. I am loving black gesso at the moment and the matt finish you get with it. I used a mix of chipboard letters and stamping. I can't be the only one with a load of unfinished pieces can I ?

Owl-itude

I have some chipboard pages that I am using for art journalling and haven't done much with them for a while. I played around with background using paints, stencils and stamps. I decided to dig out my owl punch from stampin up that hasn't really seen a lot of action and was pondering what else to put on the page. I was thinking of owl related sayings and decided I just liked the owl with attitude.

I have a small moleskin that I use for excess paint so not to waste it and want to add some quotes to it. I loved this quote but maybe the hot pink paper towel is a bit much!!

I am meeting up with a crafty pal at a craft shop and doing lunch after!

Trying to finish up things.....

I have had this round robin a couple of years. It caused no end of problems as the last person who had it kept it for months and months and never completed their square..... anyway as I had to work so hard to get it back the least I could do was finish it,

I forgot to do a before pic, so I only have a picture of when I completed the next dragon.

Hope you all have crafty plans for today!

Art Challenge: Photographs & Memories
Journal Prompt:  "All that I have to remember you"-Jim Croce

I started with acrylic paint (dylusions) and then used the sprays in the same colour and added white linen over the top. I then did some stamping - the black stamps read best of times and memories. The pictures are of my best friend who sadly passed away due to leukemia.
