This last weekend was spent in Rotherham for Craftathon 2015 hosted by the lovely Nicola. Craftathon is a yearly meet of like minded crafters who meet up and craft!...and drink, eat and be merry.
Our main project was a mask storage unit. I forget to take a picture of the kit but it was basically mdf pieces.
This is the unit after 'gessoing' and I was doing patchwork paper on the side.
This is the finished unit - I used a Tim Holtz key for the handle, I painted the inside and edges with copper paint then added gold gilding wax.
These are all the finished projects. I love how they all end up so different.
2 of our crafty bunch brought their 'shops' with them, so it would have been rude not to buy something...
I also stopped at the range with a few others on the way home.
Hope you all had a crafty weekend too!!

Wow! That's a lot of great stuff you got there Debs. Looking forward to seeing it in your journal pages soon :oD
Love your storage unit. I'm still faffing about with mine (no surprise there then). So glad to see you all had such a great time. Knew you would, of course.

Your storage unit looks just great and I love the key idea too.
Fabulous pix though you probably have more to share - don't you?
Great shopping experience - I hope we'll have the opportunity to do that part again next year too!, although I had to nip on-line and get a set of those bird stamps!
Love your stash from the Range too.
Hope your journey home wasn't too arduous (we had rain/sleet) and that you haven't had too bad a recovery day today!
