Welcome to my blog!

From x stitch I moved into card making - now I am playing around with mixed media! I am taking part in different workshops and with help from crafty pals, learning about different mediums and techniques. Hope you feel inspired to create after a visit to my blog - Happy Crafting!

Let your image shine..

was Lauren's theme for the sketchie over on cmli..I bit the bullet and had another go at the derwent pencils. I used paper stumps and baby oil but think I need a LOT more practice. Minimal embellishments as the sketch said, i used one of my new gg images as none of them have been coloured yet! I think i need some bigger nesties as I only have one large enough to cut the image out!

If any knows how you 'sharpen' your paper stumps, please let me know!!

Gorgeous card Debs, soooooo sweet and your colouring is fab hun :)
I used to colour with pencils and blend with sansador all the time, my top tip not that you need it would be to buy paper stumps that are made in Taiwan as they are softer and the best for blending & add the colour in layers & blend again :)
