Week #8
“Hearts”
Explore what your heart knows vs. what your head knows. Use hearts in a journal spread.

Lots of layers to this - strips of map then tissue paper then paint and ink sprays. Modelling paste theough a stencil them glass bead glitter gel . Stabilo all pencil around the hearts.

Another dragon done - 1 left to do

Now I just need to decide what to do with it when it's finished!!

I also took a sharp knife to my journal....

to remove a piece of spine so I could get to the last 20 or so pages. It has stuck suprisingly well with this heavy matte medium from amazon! I put masking tape on first but that was never going to work by itself.

Alternative Prompt
‘Self Love’
Make a list of ways you can be more self loving and create a spread that includes the list.

Lots of layers on this - tissue paper, distress paints and stabilo all. I then used my ink sprays and some water spray. I cut some hearts out of fabric and dripped some alcohol ink on them - it looked terrible probably as it was green, so I went over it with black gesso. I printed some words and then used glossy accents to stick some gem/rock things on.
