Welcome to my blog!

From x stitch I moved into card making - now I am playing around with mixed media! I am taking part in different workshops and with help from crafty pals, learning about different mediums and techniques. Hope you feel inspired to create after a visit to my blog - Happy Crafting!

Oh Christmas Tree

The Saturday Sketchie is back on the CMLI group on Craft Bubble and the challenge was to use a Christmas Tree.  I decided to use red and white, i embossed some card and went round the edges with chalk, then I decided to put some stickles around the tree....big mistake! They took all day too dry I kept touching them by mistake and they were wiping off everywhere and they warped the card!! I won't be using them for a long time (until I forget and think they look pretty!).

Hope everyone's weekend is going well and happy rudolph day!

Looks pretty, it's a pain when stuff takes all day to dry but it looks good :-)

I hate waiting for things to dry too Debs but at the end of the day it DOES look good so it was worth it :o)

the stickles do look good even if you are not happy with them. I hate waiting for things to dry though and always end up with glitter glue everywhere. (tip is to add it last and then walk away for the best part of the day before taking the photo!).
Thanks for the tip about the sewing machine. I will perhaps try you advice (putting it away for a week or two, but somehow I don't think this will work without your OH to fiddle with it in the meantime- lol!)

Lol I always end up touching my stickles before their dry, worse than that I do it with my glossy accents and end up with my fingerprint on it. Gorgeous card Debbie I really love that Christmas tree. hugs Donna x
