Welcome to my blog!

From x stitch I moved into card making - now I am playing around with mixed media! I am taking part in different workshops and with help from crafty pals, learning about different mediums and techniques. Hope you feel inspired to create after a visit to my blog - Happy Crafting!

Asking for help

*STICKY POST *

Those people that follow me will know I say very little about home/work life and am a reasonably private person. After having lots of neck/shoulder pain for 2 months, I was diagnosed last week with Fibromyalgia. For those who don't know what this is quite simply you are in pain and exhausted. No cure or treatment  -  just pain management and possibly massage/chiropractice/acupuncture.

I am organising  UK Only atc swap. Please send a sae along with your atc and make a donation of £1.50. Email me for my snail mail addy. Swap closes 10th Sept.

For those who don't make atc's, you could donate the sale of a handmade card or just make a donation.

Money goes straight to the charity via Just Giving, I do not receive anything.

It really would mean the world to me if you all took part,

Debbie xx

Sorry to hear about your health. I've had Fibromyalgia for around 20 years so I can relate! I've made a donation and will be happy to make an ATC too, my first one :-)

I have this and am currently in the middle of a horrible flare up. My tip, which I am not good at following, is to do things when you feel able but even when you feel able you must rest for twice as long as it took you to do the activity. I will try and make an ATC

Sorry to hear about your diagnosis, I understand completely, I suffer with my back and hips constantly, cos people cant see it there is little sympathy, not that I really want people fussing. Thanks for your comment on my card! I'm not sure why its not been published, although I can post on the blog I cant moderate comments!! I'm glad someone liked my card.

Take care sweetie, and I hope you aren't suffering too much
