Recent finish

I have been neglecting blogging and stitching lately so trying to spend a bit more time on the two. I started this little lovely last Christmas as i couldn't bear to be not doing crafty things whilst staying with relly's , and x stitch is fairly unobtrusive!

Twas The Night Before Christmas

is the theme for last weeks sketchie challenge over on the  CMLI group (see side bar) on Craftbubble. Everyone came up with lovely ideas  and i opted for Santa (in the absence of any other appropriate stamps). I was very late again and just got it in before yesterday's new sketchie was out! This is my first attempt at using distress inks and a watercolour brush. The colours were not as strong as they could be and i did have some bleeding between colours...ah well it was my first time! Hope you like it :)

for being 21 again!

Love Letters..

This week over at Craftbubble on the CMLI group (link in sidebar) it was my turn to be GDT!! WooHoo! I was super organised (very unlike me) and had the card made and all details to Lauren just under 2 weeks before.

it was my first time using Pink Petticoat papers and i was very pleased. The twist was 'Going Postal' and i know some people struggled but thank you to everyone who has taken part , and to the very talented dt who created some splendiferous cards!

Duck!

This pollycraft lovely looks like she will aim right at you! I am very very late with last weeks sketchie on the CMLI group at craftbubble. It was a sketch and theme (snowflakes) set by the lovely Karen who has been in Florida with a couple of other members of our group Kathy and Wynneth. It looks like they had a fab time! Oh the shame....

i put one of my unfinished objects on here back in april to shame myself into finishing it. It obviously didn't work as we are nearly in oct and i haven't done much more! It was my goal to finish this in 2010 as this project has been going on for years...ah well  still time!
