Yesterday saw myself and 3 other crafty pals heading to a mixed media workshop hosted by Crafty Ideas (used to be The Pink Tulip).
We were working on canvas and had this sample for inspiration
We used different techniques including stencilling, stamping, embossing and gilding foil.
The leaves are stamped and embossed on card, acetate and copper sheet. We used modelling paste through the stencils then sprinkled embossing powders over them. The picture was taken at Thoresby Hall a few years ago where we had a lovely week and fantastic weather.

It was great to catch up with you yesterday and to craft alongside you, Cherry and Wynneth too. Your make looks more finished than mine too, which is odd since I'm NORMALLY the speed of light crafter!!! Fab day out - we must do it again sometime soon
