Daisy

Over at the Sugar Bowl there is a lovely sketch with the twist of using your Fave Sugar Nellie stamp..now although there are many gorgeous ones I knew straight away which I would use!

Of course it had to be Daisy and looking at the other entries, I'm not the only one who feels like this! Daisy was my first ever stamp so I have a soft spot for her :)

I used the lovely Marianne flower die and First Edition Papers.

Birthday Balloons!

I decided to make some birthday cards and the first image I chose was was the gorgeous LOTV  'Millie Two Balloons'. I don't tend to use blue very often so I decided to step out of my comfort zone and go for a monochromatic card.

The picture was taken in my light tent and as it was so bright it seems to have 'hidden' the shading on the image..it's either too bright or too dark!

I also used a LOTV sentiment and went 'stickle' crazy but birthdays should be glittertastic!!

 More stickles around the edge of the image and gems for more bling!

I made a matching tag to go along with the birthday card and it also helped me finish up the scraps (all the paper on this card is scraps!)

Cas Cat

The lovely Kathy set the (sadly) last sketchie challenge over on CMLI, to give the DT a very well deserved break. Luckily the rest of the group, with Clare leading the way have decided to take turns at setting a monthly challenge. Hopefully everyone will be able to take part as there is a longer interval.....anyway!

The Challenge was a Cas card with the theme of domestic animals. Surprisingly enough I don't have a lot of those types of stamps..teddies/dragons/hedgehogs anyone? 

I decided to use this lovely puddy with balloons (now balloon stamps I have quite a few of.....)
