Online Course

(2nd post of the day)

The first session is now available over at Clare's blog.

It is a great tutorial and so I decided to have a go at journalling even though I have never done it before! It was focused around our wishes for 2013 and this is my take on it :)

The colours are blues and greens but I could not get a good picture as it was such a dreary day!

Hope you visit and have a go too!

Secret Santa and crafty gifts!

The top one is from my Secret Santa on Craft Bubble, the bottom one is presents from real Santa :)

Dog of the Week

We have another bright eyed boy for you this week :)

This is Bouncer

Bouncer is a boy who does not live up to his name - he is not "bouncy" at all - he comes across as a little shy when you first meet him but this soon disappears

At present Bouncer is still racing but should a loving home come along he is happy to hang up his racing shoes and take up the offer of a home - he is clean within the Kennels

Monochrome Christmas

For my CraftBubble Crimble card swap I decided to do a cas monochrome card. I had a lovely Christmas tree stamp from elzybells which I decided to use.

Hmm not to clear on the pic but there is stickles on the branches and a silver glitter on the baubles and star. I backed the image on black card  - I couldn't find black a4 anywhere so ended up buying a3 - complete pain in the bum to cut up!

Backed again with silver card, black ribbon and a charm added. Black gems from meiflower and a chocolate baroque snowflake that was free with a magazine.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges;

Charisma Cardz - Christmas Makes
Ruby's Rainbow - Christmas with Non Traditional Colours
Emerald Faeries - Christmas
Top Tip Tuesday - Christmas

Hope you are all nearly sorted for Christmas

Survival Pink

I completely forgot that I hadn't blogged this yet, so here is a nice change from everything Crimbly!

I took part in a swap over on Craft Bubble and as it was October the theme was pink to support Breast Cancer.

Hmm not sure if you can see the white butterfly stamp on the second picture. The butterfly and the text is from a Stampin Up! set which was sold in aid of breast cancer. Gems and pearls from Meiflower. Distressing is done with Worn Lipstick. Image is from a set I was given from a workshop run by the lady behind Darkroom Door.

Hope you are all organised and well prepared for the big day that is coming up!

I have been making some cards to sell for Oxford Retired Greyhounds and really needed to get cracking with some Christmas makes. I want a card that looks great but doesn't take hours to make so I got some LOTV diecuts.

This one is called Christmas Star and the die cuts come in 3 different sizes. I have made another 3 with the same die cut but won't bore you with them all - they are all traditional red and green cards.

Midway Reminder for Ready-Teddy-Go

This month's challenge is 'Don't be Square' so we want to see any project that is not square and the main image has to be a bear or a teddy.

As it is coming up to Christmas I thought I would make another Christmas card. This is my brand spanking new fiskars punch which I think is called Snow Wonder.

This is my new sentiment set called 'Mix and Match' from Imagine That. Nestabilities to cut out and glamour dust to the edges.

Die cut from Lilli of the Valley. Papers by Daisy and Dandelion 'A Winter's Tale' and base card is kraft.

A better view..

This month's challenge is sponsored by My Mum's Craft Shop

who are giving the winner a £10 voucher.

Lovely day out!

at Snazzy's with crafting buddies! Forgot to take pics (typical) but Kathy (aka purple princess) took some. Although I was going craft shopping, this is what came home with me...

2 pairs of shoes and some fabby Tim Holtz stamps. Kathy has the larger leaves set and when I saw I could get the 3 sets but in miniature, it was too good to miss!
Kathy felt the same after sleeping on it and has ordered them online!

Hope your Friday is going well and you have a lovely weekend!
