Saturday Sketchie

It was the lovely Purple Princess who set this week's Saturday Sketchie, we had a sketch to follow and the theme was masculine. I picked the papers out then coloured the image with derwentwater pencils and blended with baby oil.

After I had put this together I decided the pictures and image didn't really go together..my friends on the CMLI say otherwise so I decided to blog it.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges;

Lili's little Fairies - Anything Goes
CES Challenge Blog - No Girls Allowed

Sail away...

was the theme Lauren set on the CMLI Challenge on Craftbubble. Luckily I found the perfect image too use and I think it turned out quite well.

I had just got some new papers and was itching to use them.

I even used the scrap bits that were left over!

I used some bakers twine and fiskars butterfly punch for embellishments.

I lightly inked the rounded edges of the card with memento lulu lavender to make the edges stand out.

I used promarkers to colour this gorgeous teddy.

Happy Mother's Day

I am very late this week with Rosie's challenge over on Craftbubble as the new challenge is posted tomorrow!! Her theme was to use a tag on the card and I also wanted to get my Mothers Day card done in plenty of time!

I thought it looked a bit plain so I added some stickles and a butterfly.

I also added some lovely pink and green gems that I had in my stash.

I hope she likes it!

A Gift For You!

This is my first attempt at using promarkers on kraft. I was surprised the yellow showed as well as it did, but I think it needs more layers of colour putting down and heavier blending.

I will be entering this card into the following challenges;

The Pixie Cottage - anything goes
Top Tip Tuesday - stitches real or faux
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - celebrations
The Crazy Challenge - anything goes
